The WiMo GP-3 is a cost-effective yet powerful vertical antenna for the shortwave range. It covers the amateur radio bands 10?m, 15?m, and 20?m, making it ideal for both
beginners and portable or stationary use.

The antenna consists of telescopically interlocking aluminum tubes of different diameters. The robust design allows for easy installation using the supplied clamps. It is suitable
for mast diameters up to 44?mm.

Included in delivery is a set of radials (one radial per band) made of PVC-coated copper wire. Adding additional radials or ground nets can further improve radiation performance.


Assembly and Tuning:

The individual elements are slid into each other according to the instructions and fixed with clamps. Coarse tuning is done by adjusting the length of the top radiator
("Dimension A"), which affects all three bands. Fine tuning is achieved through the radials. The resonance frequencies can be adjusted to achieve an SWR of approximately
1.5:1 to 2:1.
